Sandeep Khosla joins Infomedia18 as CEO - publishing

Sandeep Khosla, the erstwhile vice-president and head, business publication division, Indian Express Group, has joined Infomedia18 as CEO - publishing, with immediate effect.

Prior to Khosla, Lakshmi Narasimha handled this responsibility at Infomedia18, as head, special interest publishing and printing business. Narasimha was elevated as chief executive officer of Web18 earlier this year.

In his new role, Khosla will be based out of Mumbai, and will report to Sai Kumar Ganapathy Balasubramanian, non-executive director.

Prior to the new assignment, Khosla was heading the business publications division, international marketing and special events and projects group at Indian Express. He has been associated with the Indian Express Group for the last 22 years. Of this, he was head - sales and marketing for 12 years. Then, he went on to become head of the business publication division, a responsibility he fulfilled for 10 years. Khosla is also acknowledged for his management of the Screen Awards, the Indian Express Group's benchmark event property.

Talking to afaqs! about his new role, Khosla says, "I would be responsible for the entire magazines division; and my aim would be to take the circulation, revenues and readership forward. Also, Infomedia is bullish on expansion. We'll be adding new titles and getting into new areas. Infomedia18 has been a benchmark player in special interest publishing in India; and it is now at a very exciting stage in its journey. I look forward to being part of it at such a momentous time."
