Pandey will be a part of a panel discussion on the topic 'Campaign: Lessons from when Soho's mad men ruled the world', and his session will take place on June 21. He will share the stage with co-speakers William Eccleshare, president and chief executive officer, Clear Channel International; David Guerrero, creative council head, BBDO Asia Pacific and chairperson and CCO, BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines; Adam Kean, joint executive creative director, Publicis London; and moderator Caroline Marshall, executive editor, Haymarket Brand Media.

The discussion panel will mainly address how today's high flyers from around the world can learn from the admen of the past, as advertising has gone through radical changes over the last six decades.

Dias, on the other hand, will speak at the 'Independent Agency Showcase 2010'. This session, scheduled to take place on June 22, comprises speakers from three agencies and will feature award winning work and challenging views from three of the 'hottest' independent agencies in the world today - agencies which have grown from start-ups to creative thought leaders in a short span of time.

While Dias will touch upon his reasons for leaving a large network agency (JWT India), and the fame and fortune that came along with it, to form TapRoot, he will also take the audience through the challenges and thrills of start-ups, while showcasing work from his agency. "The brief to us is to bring our learnings as independent agencies to the table," Dias tells afaqs!.

For the record, Dias has won much recognition, including the AAAI Copywriter of the Year (2004), NDTV's Creative Director of the Year (2007) and has consistently ranked among the top four Indian creative personalities in all local and international rankings. In 2007, Dias won India's first ever Grand Prix and Titanium/Integrated Lion at Cannes,

The other speakers at the Independent Agency Showcase 2010 are Karen Corrigan and Greg Titeca, founders of Happiness Brussels; and Alex Pastini, the youngest partner at Sid Lee, who leads the agency's development in Europe.
