Big Street, the out of home division of Reliance Media World, has bagged the advertising rights inside 21 stations on Line 3 of Delhi Metro, which extends from Indraprastha via Barakhamba Road to Dwarka.

The contract has been awarded for a period of five years, during which the agency will pay a license fee on a half-yearly basis, in advance, to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The agency has bagged the advertising rights for stations including Barakhamba Road, RK Ashram Marg, Jhandewalan, Karol Bagh, Rajendra Place, Patel Nagar, Shadi Pur, Kirti Nagar, Moti Nagar, Ramesh Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Tagore Garden, Subhash Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar, Prem Nagar, Nawada, Dwarka Mor and Dwarka.

There are 31 stations on Line 3, spread over 32 km and Rajiv Chowk, one of the Metro stations with the highest footfall records, has been excluded from the list of stations covered in the route.

About 60 per cent of the area inside these stations is ready to use for the purpose of display of advertisement. This area accounts for about 4187.20 sq. m.

DMRC may, after approval, offer the additional space, panels or opportunity for any other forms of advertising (such as floor graphics, pillar branding and stairs branding); however, the agency will be liable to pay an additional license fee on these structures.
