M3M India awards media duties to MPG

The size of the business is estimated to be more than Rs 20 crore

The media duties for M3M India will be handled by MPG, the media buying and planning agency under the Havas Group. The duties will be handled by the Delhi office of the agency. There was no formal pitch involved and MPG had approached M3M for the business. The size of the account is estimated to be more than Rs 20 crore.

M3M India offers multi-dimensional reality solutions and services in the arena of realty. The creative duties for M3M are currently handled by TBWA/India and BEI Confluence.

Confirming the news, Dr. Kunal Banerji, president, M3M India, says, "We found MPG thorough and insightful in its approach. Its strategic thinking, driven by proprietary tools, was in sync with our marketing objectives and requirements."

Commenting on the account win, Anita Nayyar, chief executive officer, Havas Media India and South Asia, says, "Through our association with the M3M Group, we look forward to creating a power brand in the real estate category."

MPG recently won the media duties for INQ Mobile and IMN Media (News X). With the M3M account win, it has now consolidated its position further by adding to its kitty media business worth more than Rs 50 crore in the last few months.

The M3M Group has a total budget of Rs 20 crore for the financial year 2010-11, out of which Rs 15 crore will be set aside for immediate media duties.
