MMRDA invites tenders for ad rights to eight flyovers

The total ad space on all the eight flyovers is about 1880 sq.m

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited tender bids from agencies for displaying advertisement on eight flyovers on the Western Express (WE) Highway for a period of five years. The tender has been divided into eight packages corresponding to each flyover.

The tender has been called for the Airport Junction flyover, Santacruz, which has an ad space of about 480 sq. m and requires an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 5 lakh; the Dindoshi junction flyover, Goregaon and Thakur Complex flyover, Kandivali, both offering ad sapce of 240 sq. m and requiring EMDs of Rs 2.50 lakh; and the Times of India flyover in Malad, which has an ad space of 120 sq. m and requires an EMD of Rs 1.50 lakh.

The Bhor flyover, Kandivali; the Shiv Vallabh Junction flyover; Borivali; the SN Dubey Junction flyover, Dahisar; and the Suhasini Pawaskar Junction flyover, Dahisar, offer ad spaces of 200 sq. m each and require EMDs of Rs 2 lakh each.

The participating agency must have an annual turnover of Rs 2 crore in the past three years and solvency of Rs 1 crore.

Interested agencies are required to submit the sealed tender in separate packages to the chief engineer, engineering division, MMRDA, before 1 pm on August 10.
