DMRC invites tender bids for outdoor ad rights on Line 2, southern extension

The advertising rights will be awarded for a period of five years

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has floated a tender for outdoor advertising rights on the civil structures of the underground section from Udyog Bhawan to Saket stations and the elevated section from Qutub Minar to Guru Dronacharya (excluding) stations. The total outdoor advertisement area on offer is 960 sq. m.

From Udyog Bhawan to Saket, there are nine stations including Udyog Bhawan, Race Course, Jor Bagh, INA, AIIMS, Green Park, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar and Saket.

While the earnest money deposit has been fixed at Rs 17 lakh, the tender document costs Rs 21,000 (including 5 per cent DVAT) and is available till July 28.

The outdoor advertisements are allowed on all locations in between stations on piers, via ducts, bridges, retaining walls and exterior walls of stations. However, whether an advertisement site falls inside or outside a station will be decided by DMRC.

The license for the advertisement will be valid for a period of five years, extendable for another three years at any time during contract period. The license period will commence 30 days from the date of issue of the first approval by DMRC.

In the proposed tender, agencies will have to indicate the locations for advertising panels, design of media vehicles including their structural plans, electrical and cable routing plans, the advertising panels/type of advertisements for these locations and submit all the plans of proposed panels, including fixing arrangements, for DMRC's approval within 30 days from date of issue of the Letter of Acceptance.

The last date for submitting the tender document is July 28 (5 pm).
