Following a multi agency pitch, Aegis Global Academy, a part of the Essar Group, has selected Publicis India to launch its institute of customer service management. The institute is slated for a launch in September 2010.
The driving vision of the institute is to close the gap between the current education system and the requirement of the services industry.
Speaking on the win, Madan Mohan, executive vice-president, Publicis India, says, "The vision that Aegis has for education is a very unique and differentiated one. I am really looking forward to the challenge." He adds that the agency's 'Contagious Ideas' philosophy would work best in helping Aegis change the conversation in the category.
What helped Publicis India clinch this win was the presentation of a complete launch package, which resonated well with Aegis Global Academy.
Subir Ghosh, president, Aegis Global Academy mentions in a press statement, "We knew that we had a winning idea in the academy but we were really strapped for time. This meant that we needed an agency which understands the challenge and delivers a completely radical solution. Publicis India has just that."
He adds that the brand is very happy with the progress it has made with the agency so far.First Published : August 06, 2010
