Following a multi agency pitch, Aegis Global Academy, a part of the Essar Group, has selected Publicis India to launch its institute of customer service management. The institute is slated for a launch in September 2010.

The media plan for the upcoming campaign includes extensive use of digital as well as print media. The digital space will be utilised primarily for keyword marketing (search engine optimisation) and viral films.

Speaking on the win, Madan Mohan, executive vice-president, Publicis India, says, "The vision that Aegis has for education is a very unique and differentiated one. I am really looking forward to the challenge." He adds that the agency's 'Contagious Ideas' philosophy would work best in helping Aegis change the conversation in the category.

'Contagious Ideas' is Publicis India's internal philosophy, which rests on the rationale that in present times, people communicate a lot with one another via several channels (phone, Internet and others) and that it is the agency's responsibility to ensure that this talk amongst consumers includes positive conversations about the brand in question.

What helped Publicis India clinch this win was the presentation of a complete launch package, which resonated well with Aegis Global Academy.

Subir Ghosh, president, Aegis Global Academy mentions in a press statement, "We knew that we had a winning idea in the academy but we were really strapped for time. This meant that we needed an agency which understands the challenge and delivers a completely radical solution. Publicis India has just that."

He adds that the brand is very happy with the progress it has made with the agency so far.
