Mandeep Malhotra elevated to post of president, Mudra MAX - OOH Services

Malhotra will spearhead Mudra MAX's OOH units -- Primesite, StreetSmart and ClearChannel Mudra

Mandeep Malhotra, who was, till recently, the senior vice-president of Primesite, the out-of-home solutions unit of Mudra MAX, has now been elevated to the post of president, OOH services at the agency.

This means that he would now look into the operations of the other outdoor units under Mudra MAX as well. Mandeep Malhotra, better known as Mandee, confirms this to afaqs!, "I will now be looking over the existing outdoor units besides Primesite, like StreetSmart and ClearChannel Mudra too."

Malhotra will continue to report to Anurag Gupta, chief strategy officer, Mudra MAX. Gupta says, "In his new role, Mandeep is not only going to add value to all our OOH offerings, but will also be a key resource in integrating various offerings of Mudra MAX. I wish him all the best for a long and fruitful journey with us."

Commenting on his elevation, Malhotra says, "Change is a very pleasant constant. Mudra MAX is a place where talent is appreciated and groomed for future leadership, not only within the group, but the entire industry. My new role will be to evolve Mudra MAX's OOH business to the next level. I am looking forward to bringing a better interactive edge to the outdoor space in the future."

Malhotra has over 12 years of professional experience in outdoor media. He has spent close to two years at Mudra MAX, having joined Primesite in December 2008. Earlier, he has worked with Clear Channel India, Rediffusion DY&R, 141 Wall Street (the OOH arm of Bates 141), Asian Age, Pioneer and Total Media Melbourne. He has managed brands such as Tata Indicom, Airtel, Reebok, Discovery, CNN IBN and Nokia. He also has a number of national and international awards in outdoor to his credit.

For the record, Mudra MAX consists of 16 specialist marketing units: Connext (business solutions through media), RADAR (customized media solutions for Reliance ADA Group), Primesite (out-of-home solutions), Prime Green (solar enabled media), Prime Consult (outdoor environment consulting), Prime Retail (retail and visual strategy), Prime Wayfinding (navigation solutions), Kidstuff (promotional marketing), StreetSmart (interactive out-of-home solutions), Multiplier (trade marketing), Celsius (events marketing), Mudra Videotec (brands + entertainment), 10 Integrated (sports marketing), Terra (rural marketing), Portland Mudra (experiential & retail design) and ClearChannel Mudra (global out-of-home solutions).
