Aegis Media launches iProspect in India
iProspect is a US-based search marketing firm that offers solutions related to search engine optimisation and paid search advertising
Aegis Media has finally launched its US-based search marketing firm, iProspect in India.
iProspect was founded in 1996 and was acquired by Aegis Media in 2004. It offers search marketing solutions such as search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid search advertising.
The search agency will have its presence in Delhi and Mumbai, initially. An office will be established in Bengaluru in the first financial quarter of 2011. The search firm will be headed by Shamsuddin Jasani, who is currently the country head of Isobar in India.
Prior to iProspect, Aegis Media would manage the search marketing campaigns of its clients through Isobar -- its digital agency.
Aegis Media has already start inducting people for the search firm in India. It has roped in Kishore Babu Pentyala and Naresh Gondlyala, both of whom were at Interactive Avenues as group heads, search.
In an official communiqué, Jasani says, "The launch of iProspect will give us the ability to provide world class services to clients in India."
He adds, "Marketers in India are yet to experience the level of sophistication iProspect offers. iProspect will helps us to raise the bar for search marketing in India. The key members of the iProspect India team have already been trained and certified in iProspect Best Practices, through iProspect University."
