Ignitee Digital Solutions bags online marketing duties for BSNL Chennai

Telecommunications company BSNL Chennai has signed digital marketing company Ignitee Digital Solutions as its online marketing partner. As a priority, Ignitee will provide search engine marketing services to the company.

With this development, BSNL Chennai is looking forward to spreading its footprints in the online domain and hopes to create optimum utilisation of this medium to reach out to its consumers.

Speaking about the marketing initiatives for the brand, he says, "BSNL has never been exposed to digital media in a big way before. We're more of a partner to the brand than an 'agency' and are encouraging the authorities at BSNL to encash on the 3G space to the fullest."

He adds that Ignitee will play consultant to BSNL and impart valuable advice on how the brand can improve its visibility in the online space. "We're looking to advice the client regarding proper banner and display advertisements and will also be present in the social media world extremely innovatively," he shares.

Refusing to get into details as to how the social media platform will be exploited, Shankar claims that the upcoming creatives will be far different from the ones churned out by other telecom players. "The marketing solutions will be mass - yet highly tactical in nature," he reveals.

Authorities at BSNL Chennai were unavailable for comment at the time of filing this report.
