Triton Communications bags creative duties for ECS

There was no official pitch for the account, which is estimated to be worth Rs 4-5 crore.

Triton Communication has bagged the creative mandate for Eco-friendly Computech Solutions (ECS) Infotech, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The account size has been pegged at Rs 4-5 crore.

ECS has four major service offerings, namely refurbishing, e-waste management, remote infrastructure management and IT managed services. ECS is the sister concern of Sai InfoSystem, an IT service provider, and e-mall, an IT retail chain.

No pitch was called for the account, but Triton has been handling the primary brand of the group, e-mall, since August 2009.

Speaking about the win, Mahesh Manjawala, executive director, Triton Communications, says, "I believe the ECS account has come to us purely on merit basis. Triton had given some outstanding creative ideas and strategic inputs in making e-mall a one-stop destination for IT shopping, in the IT retail sector."

Taking about his plans for the company, he adds, "I think it is too premature to comment on this. The company has just been formed. The picture will be clear two months down the line when we sit for various sessions with the client, before finalising and strategising various campaigns for them."

On appointing Triton, Vijay Mandora, founder and managing director of ECS and the deputy managing director of Sai InfoSystem (India), says, "When we talk about brands and creativity, we think about an agency where people can add value to the brand. Triton will definitely be an effective agency, which will help us to grow as a brand and promote our 'go-green' technology."

For the record, some of the other accounts that Triton handles are Vadilal, Waghbakri, Adani Wilmar, EverYuth and Supernova.
