Sonia Lal joins Mudra Max as VP-South, OOH

Lal has over 12 years of experience and has been associated with brands such as Megamart, TVS Motors and Tata Tea.

Mudra Max, a part of the Mudra Group, has appointed Sonia Lal as the vice-president for its OOH division in South India. Prior to this appointment, Lal was business head at the media division of the Bengaluru-based Serve & Volley.

Mandeep Malhotra, president, Mudra Max-OOH, says, "Sonia carries the confidence of media owners, which is essential for this business. Her passion and understanding of the business makes her a strong OOH person at Mudra Max."

Commenting on her appointment, Lal says, "I keenly look forward to work with Mudra. I am certain that as we move along, we will greatly strengthen our capabilities in outdoor solutions."

With a Masters degree from XLRI Jamshedpur, Lal has over 12 years of experience. Her work experience is very diverse, which includes a seven-year stint with IDBI Bank and three years with a mid-sized steel fabrication company.

Some of the notable clients that Sonia has worked with are Megamart (the retail chain from Arvind Limited and TVS Motors. She has also played a crucial role during the launch of Tata Tea's fruit and tea-based health drinks in South India.

Mudra Max consists of 16 strategic business units that provide solutions for a wide variety of media touch points. Its clients include Reliance ADAG, Nike, HUL, Pepsi, Aircel, ITC, United Spirits, Wipro, Reebok, Western Union, The Times Group, Delhi Metro, Samsung, Castrol, Asian Paints, SAB Miller, Cartoon Network, Philips and Wrigleys.
