Mumbai-based mobile service provider, Loop Mobile, which has 3 million subscribers in the city, has hired Windchimes Communications as its social-media agency.
Windchimes Communications will provide consultancy and help the mobile company to set up and manage its presence on social media. Loop Mobile plans to use social media for various purposes, such as online reputation management, brand building, customer engagement, acquisition of new customers and creating awareness about its new offerings and value-added services (VAS).
About Loop Mobile's social-media strategy, Nimesh Shah, head maven, Windchimes Communications, tells afaqs!, "Facebook and Twitter will become the core of the social media strategy of Loop Mobile. Twitter.com will be leveraged to listen to and resolve consumer feedback. Facebook.com will be used for brand building and creating awareness about value-added services offered by the mobile company."
He adds, "We plan to create Facebook applications, which can be integrated with mobile devices and used to demonstrate the value-added services offered by the company."

For the record, Windchimes recently won the social media duties of Sony Music and Kochi IPL Team as well.
