Amar Ujala AMCL 2011: Amar Ujala, Lowe Lintas, Dentsu and Noshe win their matches in Delhi

While the first match of the day resulted in a walkover for Amar Ujala, the rest of the matches witnessed generous doses of exciting cricket and impressive performances.

Among the four matches of the day, the first resulted in a walkover. The most exciting match, perhaps, was between Noshe and Diamond Magazines. Mohd Mobeen of Team Noshe created a record of sorts by clinching six wickets, the highest so far by any bowler in the tournament.

Amar Ujala versus JWT

The first match of the day was between Amar Ujala and JWT. Since the latter did not turn up for the match, Amar Ujala got a walkover and also won two points on account of the opposing team's absence.

Madison versus Lowe Lintas

The next scheduled match was a quick one. Deciding to field first, Team Lowe Lintas set an easy target of 86 runs for Team Madison.

When Team Madison came to bat, Siddhartha from Team Lowe clinched four crucial wickets to contain their score. The highest scorer in Team Madison was Damodaran with 25 runs (off 11 balls, 6X4).

Despite its modest score, Team Lowe won the match by four wickets. Siddhartha from Team Lowe Lintas was adjudged the Man of the Match for his match-changing bowling.

Leo Burnett versus Dentsu

Team Leo Burnett won the toss and batted first, scoring 109 runs for six wickets. The highest scorer from the side was Arvind Murli, who scored 27 runs (off 12 balls, 5X4, 1X6). Faizullah Siddiquee of Team Dentsu snapped two wickets, giving away 30 runs in four overs.

Team Dentsu reached the target comfortably in 8.5 overs. Faizullah also scored 31 runs (off 12 balls, 4X4, 1X6), thus earning the Man of the Match trophy for his laudable all-round performance.

Noshe versus Diamond Magazines

Team Noshe won the toss and decided to bat first. The team, which was all-out, managed a high score of 133 runs in 9.4 overs.

The highlight of the match was the impressive bowling performance by Team Noshe's Mohd. Mobeen (he won the Man of the Match award, previously, too). Mobeen snapped six wickets, the highest so far in the tournament. He gave away 12 runs in a little over two overs.

Mobeen's bowling attack helped Team Noshe to win by 86 runs. He was deservingly adjudged the Man of the Match for the second time in a row.
