After Sarbasadharana, it's The Common India for Odisha readers
The new daily will start with an initial print run of a mere 25,000 copies, of which 10,000 copies will be published from Odisha, and 5,000 copies will be printed from each of the other three states - Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal.

However, the group claims that it aims to achieve a circulation of two lakh copies within a span of one year. The new entrant will have printing locations in Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi, Kolkata and Patna. The daily will have 20 pages on an average, of which eight will be coloured pages, whereas the rest will be black and white. The new daily will have a cover price of Rs 5.

Debasis Balabantaray, chief administrative officer, SLB Media & Entertainment says that the group hopes to expand the presence of the new English daily to a few more states within a span of two years. The new entrant will follow a style of reporting similar to that of Sarbasadharana, with emphasis on hardcore news focussing on the common man's life.

Through this English daily, SLB Media & Entertainment plans to reach out to the young, educated and well-informed people of Odisha. The group also aims to cater to the youngsters who are not originally from the state, but are residing there for work and want to know more about the state.
