Deepak Singh and Ravinder Siwach join Mudra South and Ignite Mudra

Both Singh and Siwach will be group creative director in their respective agencies.

The Mudra Group has recently gone through two internal movements.

Deepak Singh, who joined Mudra West as creative director in 2010, has been relocated to Mudra South, at the agency's Bengaluru office. He has been promoted to the post of group creative director. He will be report to Vipul Thakkar, executive creative director, Mudra South. Singh will be handling brands such as Jockey, Federal Bank, and McDowell.

"Singh is a creative powerhouse. I can't think of a single award, national or international, that he hasn't won in his career. And, despite that, he is wonderfully humble. I am thrilled to have him in the Bengaluru office," says Thakkar, executive creative director, Mudra South.

Commenting on his new role, Singh says, "I have had a good run in Mumbai and enjoyed every moment spent there. I wanted to go forward and grow with the company. Mudra, Bengaluru has done good creative work for the brands. Moreover, I could not give up the opportunity to work with Thakkar again. The team in Bengaluru is young and enthusiastic and with the right impetus, it will soon make its mark in winning accolades, both nationally, and internationally."

Singh has worked with agencies like Leo Burnett, Grey Worldwide, and McCann Erickson, and with various clients like Philips, Electrolux, Johnnie Walker, Bajaj Electricals, Parle-G, Appy Fizz, Bailey, Air India, Tata Indicom, Priyagold Biscuits, SAB TV, ABN Amro Bank, Kia Diamonds, Vimal, Suzlon, UTV, Pantene, Ambuja Cement, and Union Bank.

He has over 200 national and international awards under his belt, including six silvers at Asia-Pacific 2009, two Lions at the Cannes Awards 2009, Best of Show (Regional) at the Singapore Outdoor Advertising Awards (SOAA), 12 awards at GoaFest 2010, and two golds at the New York Festival 2010.

Ravinder Siwach has also been promoted to the role of group creative director. He will be based in Ahmedabad, and will report to Bobby Pawar, chief creative officer, Ignite Mudra. He began his stint with Mudra West in 2007.

In his new role at Ignite Mudra, Siwach will handle brands such as Paras Pharma, Zydus Wellness - Nutralite, Acitilite, Symphony Air Coolers, YoBykes, and Elite Cakes & Confectionary.

Commenting on Ravinder's new role, Chandan Nath, president, Ignite Mudra said, "Ravinder has been responsible for some great work with Mudra, Mumbai, for the last three years. His coming on board with Ignite Mudra is really great. I am sure this will enhance our creative offerings to clients and add value to their brands."

Talking about his own role, Siwach, says, "For the last three years, I was kind of doing everything that Mudra was telling me to do. So, when they needed somebody here, and I was being offered the role by Bobby Pawar, I accepted it gladly."

Siwach, has worked with agencies like Contract Advertising, and Everest Integrated Communications, to name a few. He had the opportunity to work with brands such as Domino's Pizza, Dabur, Honda, NIIT, Incredible India, Reliance Big TV, Union Bank of India, Air India, LIC, Future Group (eZone, Big Bazaar, Fashion@BigBazaar), Bank of Baroda, Real Good Chicken and Yummiez, both from Godrej.

He has won the ABBY Award, as well as the Effie Award.
