Fever 104 FM appoints Jaideep Banerjee as regional head, programming -- Kolkata

His mandate is to strengthen the positioning of the company's programming team in Kolkata.

Fever 104 FM has roped in Jaideep Banerjee as its regional head, programming, for its Eastern operations. Banerjee, who will be based in Kolkata, will report to S Keerthivasan, business head, Fever 104 FM.

His mandate in the company will involve strengthening the programming team and its positioning in Kolkata. He will also be responsible for the various programming initiatives of the radio station and will be expected to come up with some innovative programming line-up.

Welcoming Banerjee into the Fever 104 FM team, Keerthivasan, says, "Banerjee's rich experience will be of immense value to Fever 104 FM as it enters the next phase of growth in the Eastern region. We want him to strengthen and fuel our growth in the city. We have some aggressive plans for this year -- both in the programming and the marketing segments, and I am confident that he will help us reach those goals."

Speaking on his new role, Banerjee, says, "Fever 104 FM has been successful in delivering on its brand promise of 'it's all about the music' through a unique and innovative programming. I look forward to be a part of this team and work closely with them to help in the brand positioning."

Banerjee started his career as a radio jockey with Times FM, in 1995. After that, he joined Radio City in 2001 as programming head in Lucknow. He then moved to Delhi in 2003, to take over as the city's programming head. He was later promoted to the post of station head, Radio City, Delhi.

After that, Banerjee hopped on to 91.9 Friends FM as national programming head in 2006, before finally shifting to Fever 104 FM.

Banerjee also delivers occasional lectures on the programming aspects of FM Radio to various mass communication and management institutes across the country.
