Bhaskar Das promoted to president at BCCL

Bhaskar Das, who was until now executive president at Bennett, Coleman and Company's (BCCL) revenue division, has been promoted as president.

He is also a part of various significant industry bodies, which include Media Research Users' Council (MRUC) and The Ad Club (Mumbai).

Meanwhile, Arunava Das Sharma has been appointed to step into the role of executive president and will be reporting to Das. Sharma comes from Whirlpool US.

For the record, BCCL had tied up with media professional Yogesh Radhakrishnan, to launch a joint venture called Media Network & Distribution (India) (MNDIL), earlier this year.

The joint venture Prime Connect, is an independent distribution platform, which organises and distributes channels in India through various platforms, including MSOs, DTH, IPTV and other emerging digital platforms, across homes and commercial establishments.
