Ravi Ambrose joins Milestone Brandcom as senior V-P, OOH integration and new initiatives

Ravi Ambrose, who quit as head of StreetSmart, the out of home (OOH) solutions division of Mudra Max last month, has joined OOH agency Milestone Brandcom as senior vice-president - OOH integration, and will spearhead new initiatives for the group.

He will be responsible for the North India operations and will be based in Delhi.

He brings over 17 years of OOH experience, having worked with organisations like Selvel-Vantage Group, and Bharti Airtel, wherein he was responsible for Outdoor and BTL operations. He worked at Ogilvy Action thereafter, where he headed integrated OOH operations for the North, and was responsible for putting together complete OOH communications for clients.

Commenting on Ambrose's appointment, Nabendu Bhattacharyya, founder and MD, Milestone Brandcom says, "Ambrose is one of the finest OOH professionals in the country, whose passion, knowledge and experience in the out of home field are unparalleled. Ambrose is no stranger to Bhattacharyya, having worked together since his Selvel-Vantage Group days, and later at Ogilvy Action, where they worked together for many years.

Despite being a stand alone agency it has created a real wave in the industry and challenged some of the largest groups by winning the biggest of the businesses."

Bhattacharyya adds that Ambrose's inclusion in the organisation will strengthen and build momentum in launching other verticals and create add-ons at Milestone Brandcom. In his new role, he will contribute towards increasing the footprints of the organisation into new arenas of OOH and activation space.
