Dentsu's Anwesh Bose joins Mudra Max

Bose has joined Mudra Max as branch head, North and East.

Mudra Max has roped in Anwesh Bose as its branch head, North and East. Prior to this appointment, Bose was with the Dentsu India Group in the media function as chief growth officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Manas Mishra, executive vice-president and country head, Mudra Connext, says in a press statement, "With Bose, we have a seasoned media professional with experience in the Delhi market. His experience with many national and international brands, and the partnerships he has built with the media and clients will help us in further strengthening our operations in Delhi and Kolkata."

On his decision to join Mudra Max, Bose remarks, "Mudra Max is now at a very exciting stage in its journey, and I look forward to being part of it at such a momentous time."

Though Bose will work closely with all the 16 vertical heads at Mudra Max, his primary area of work will be media, namely, Mudra Connext.

Bose, who brings with him 13 years of experience in media planning and buying, started his career in 1998 with National Advertising in the client servicing department. A year later, Bose's tryst with media planning and buying began. Bose later joined iB&W as manager, account and media planning.

Bose was also part of the team that started Media Pros. He then moved on to Dentsu India's media department for five-and-a-half years, where he worked on brands such as Yamaha, Honda, Suzlon, Canon, Grasim, Jaypee, Daikin, Raymond, Toyota, Panasonic, FedEx, Thomas Cook and others.

He played a significant role in winning major businesses for Dentsu over the last few years. He also played a role in setting up Dentsu Digital, and was part of the team that underwrote and realised the Rs 5 billion TV advertising inventory for the Champions Trophy Cricket (India) and World Cup Cricket (West Indies).

Bose is also a recipient of Academic Industry Interface Award from Amity University, 2006, and Media Person of the Year (2006, 2007), Dentsu.
