Budi Dwisantara Sutisna puts in papers at JWT

Sutisna, better known asDidi, had joined the agency's Delhi branch in January as executive director, planning, on the Airtel business. Earlier, Didi was planning head at Lavender.

About five months after joining JWT Delhi, Budi Dwisantara Sutisna aka Didi, executive director, planning, is on his way out. Sutisna was hired on the Airtel business, along with two creative directors, NazlyKasim and Devina, both from Saatchi & Saatchi, Kuala Lumpur.

Early this year, JWT was recruiting international talent as part of its strategy to bring in new creative minds and fresh ideas in the highly competitive industry. The agency started the trend by bringing on board Adrian Miller as chief creative officer last year.

The development was confirmed by reliable sources in the industry, on condition of anonymity, who say that Sutisna also decided to move out after the resignation of Miller. Miller is currently serving his notice period at the agency.

Prior to joining JWT, Sutisna was in Australia, where he worked as planning head at Lavender. He has more than 12 years of experience, and has worked with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was director, planning, and was responsible for brands such as Tiger Beer, P&G, Sony, Toyota and Kraft.

He has also worked with the Amsterdam-based hotshop Kessels Kramer and Strawberry Frog. He has worked on brands such as Bavaria beer, Diesel, IKEA, Mitsubishi Motors, MTVE, Capgemini and Onitsuka Tiger
