Salt Brand Solutions bags Kaya Skin Clinic's creative mandate

Skin care clinic chain Kaya Skin Clinic has awarded its creative duties to Salt Brand Solutions, the new agency founded by Mahesh Chauhan and Minakshi Achan. The agency was appointed as Kaya's creative partner after a multi-agency pitch that was called about a month ago.

Confirming the development, Suvodeep Das, marketing head, Kaya Skin Clinic, says in a press statement, "Kaya is at a stage where we need to increase the relevance of the brand for a larger target audience. We were looking for a creative partner that not only understands our consumers' needs, but is also well adept at working in the new changing environment where consumers are interacting with the brands like never before."

The incumbent agency on the business is Rediffusion-Y&R. The agency has been handling the account for the last three years. It is learnt that Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson were among the agencies vying for the account.

Present in India (across 26 cities), West Asia and Bangladesh, Kaya is looking at a mix of conventional media of print, radio and outdoor, along with social and digital media tools for its marketing communication, going forward.
