Colors ropes in Pavithra Vivek as head, property sales

Viacom 18's flagship brand Colors has appointed Pavithra Vivek as head, property sales. Vivek joins the channel from Aidem Ventures where in her most recent capacity, she was heading the sales nationally for News 24 and Live India, and was based in Delhi.

On her appointment, Vivek says in a press statement, "My new role with Colors is interesting, yet challenging. Colors is a strong entertainment brand, and this role offers an opportunity to move beyond sales, to create concepts and innovative content solutions for advertisers."

Armed with over a decade of experience in the broadcast and entertainment industry, Vivek is of the opinion that witnessing the growth of television and viewership changes in the industry, the time is right to apply past learnings and build winning partnerships.

Vivek started her career with STAR, handling sales for STAR News, National Geographic Channel and Channel [V]. Prior to Aidem, she has worked with NDTV Media, where she spent over eight years supporting the sales function of the company. She managed national sales for NDTV 24x7, and at various points was responsible for NDTV India, NDTV Profit, MSN India and NDTV Good Times.
