Currently, the creative mandate for Fortis Healthcare is divided between Grey and Crayons Advertising.

About two months ago, Fortis Healthcare had called for a pitch for part of its creative business. afaqs! has learnt that the pitch process has come to a conclusion, and that Grey has retained the business.

The pitch, which was held in Bengaluru, saw the participation of five-six leading advertising agencies that have a strong presence in South India.

Interestingly, incumbent agency Grey did not pitch, but has retained the business anyway.

Although an official confirmation could not be obtained from either the agency or the Fortis team, well-placed professionals from the advertising industry have confirmed the development to afaqs!.

Fortis, currently, has two creative agencies on its roster, namely, Grey and Crayons Advertising. The creative mandate is divided between these two agencies. Crayons handles Fortis' corporate brand and its hospitals in the northern region, while Grey handles Fortis' hospitals in the South, West and East.

The media planning and buying mandate is also shared by Crayons and Grey, depending on the region for which the campaign is being created.
