Ratan Ka Rishta helps Imagine TV cross the 100 GRP mark

The channel has gained 26 points to stand at 107 points in Week 27.

Riding on the back of its reality show Ratan Ka Rishta, Imagine TV has managed to cross the 100 GRP mark for the week ended July 2, 2011, according to TAM (C&S4+, HSM).

According to TAM (C&S4+, HSM), the channel, still at number six, is 26 points ahead of its previous week mark, to stand at 107 points in Week 27. It's the three-hour long Saturday episode alone of Ratan Ka Rishta that contributed as much as 16 GRPs to the channel. As a result, Imagine TV's relative share has also increased from 6.4 per cent in Week 26 to 8.1 in Week 27.

For the record, while the two hour sangeet episode grabbed an average TVR of 2.3, the one-hour-long mehendi ritual averaged at 2.8 TVR.

Meanwhile, leader of the flock Star Plus has added 19 extra points to its kitty, to end the week with 311 GRPs. Its relative share has, however, witnessed only a very minute upswing - from 23 per cent in Week 26 to 23.8 in Week 27.

Second-in-command Colors has lost 10 GRPs during the week, garnering 253 GRPs. Its relative share has also fallen to 19.3 per cent from 20.7 per cent in the previous week.

At No. 3, Zee TV is at 205 GRPs, after losing 23 points over the previous week. Its relative share declined from 18 per cent in Week 26, to 15.7 per cent in Week 27.

The No. 4 GEC, Sony, on the other hand, has witnessed a 23-point rise from 150 GRPs to 173 GRPs. Its relative share has also increased from 11.8 per cent, to 13.2 per cent in Week 27.

Sibling channel SAB, at the fifth position, has scored 134 GRPs in Week 27. Its relative channel share is 10.2 per cent for the week, down from 10.8 per cent during the same period.

At No. 7, STAR One is at 41 GRPs, while its relative share is 3.1 per cent. Sahara One, with 34 GRPs and a channel share of 3 per cent, follows it.

STAR Utsav is at No. 9. The channel's relative share and GRPs have dipped marginally to 2.1 per cent (2.4 per cent in the previous week) and 28 GRPs (31 GRPs in the previous week), respectively.

DD1 and Zee Smile have garnered relative shares of 1.6 per cent and 0.2 per cent, respectively.

Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 5.16, followed by Balika Vadhu (Colors) and Saathiya Saath Nibhana (Star Plus), with TVRs of 5.06 and 4.48, respectively.

The fourth most-watched programme is Uttaran, with 4.46 TVR. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (4.36 TVR), Pratigya (4.29 TVR) and Ram Milayi Jodi (3.97 TVR) follow next. Na Aana Is Des Laado, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Laagi Tujhse Lagan are also a part of the Top 10 list.
