Rediffusion Mumbai appoints Venugopal Chandrasekhar as business head
His last assignment was with Bates 141, where he worked for around five years.
Rediffusion-Y&R's Mumbai office has brought on board Venugopal Chandrasekhar as business head. He moves in from Bates 141, where he served in the capacity of vice-president, account management. Chandrasekhar was with Bates since 2006.
Commenting on his appointment, Chandrasekhar conveys in an official communiqué, "The thought of being a part of the next stage of consolidation and growth of an iconic agency like Rediffusion-Y&R truly excites me. There is a whole bunch of extremely talented guys out there, hungry to do sparkling work on some fascinating brands."
Chandrasekhar further adds that it was the lure of heading a business unit which bears a combination of experienced, as well as young talent that motivated him to come on board.
In a career span of 19 years, Chandrasekhar has worked at agencies such as Contract Advertising (1992-2004) and Brand David (2005-2006). Between 2004 and 2005, he was with UTV Software.
