The development is the result of a formal pitch process in which several agencies were invited to present a strategic direction for this new brand.

The account size is estimated to be around Rs 8-10 crore.

Addressing the win, Sudarshan Banerjee, head, Ignite Mudra conveyed in an official communiqué, "It is a new age product launch in an uncharted territory yet, where the rules of the game are not yet defined."

Abhilash Sonwane, senior vice-president, product management, Cyberoam, comments on the strategic direction that the winning agency put forth. "Given Ignite Mudra's impressive credentials, we were keen to see how the agency would approach a brand launch like ours. This is very crucial for us as we have largely operated in the B2B segment so far," he says.

Sonwane adds that the team demonstrated a very thorough understanding of the challenges and the approach to overcome them, which is precisely what helped it clinch this win.

Its other divisions include CRESTEL Convergent Billing Solution that meets the voice, data, video billing and customer care requirements of Tier-1 service providers, and 24-hour online billing and bandwidth management solution for hotels, hotspots and internet service providers.

Headquartered in India, Elitecore is also actively involved in several industry associations including TM Forum, WiMAX Forum, IPv6 Forum, Checkmark (Westcoast Labs), ICSA Labs, Internet Watch Foundation, VPN Consortium, NASSCOM, FICCI, CII and IPTV Forum.

For the record, the Ahmedabad-based Ignite Mudra is a specialist agency of the Mudra Group that focusses on building entrepreneurial brands. Some of its recently acquired accounts include real-estate firm Sikka Group, internet service provider YOU Broadband & Cable, Trichup hair care products, Sainik Plywood, and Govind Rubber.
