VivaKi Exchange promotes Mona Jain as CEO

VivaKi Exchange, the consolidated media buying arm of Starcom MediaVest Group, Zenith Optimedia, Solutions India and Digitas India, has promoted Mona Jain to the newly-created position of chief executive officer (CEO).

She will continue to report to Ambika Srivastava, chairperson, VivaKi Exchange. Earlier, Jain was chief operating officer, VivaKi Exchange.

Speaking on her new role, Jain says, "I am honoured and humbled by my appointment as the first CEO of VivaKi Exchange. I would like to thank the leadership team for its faith and confidence in my abilities. I see us continue to create innovative, distinct and aggressive advantages for VivaKi Exchange, driving client vision and nurturing further collaboration and integration with media owners and our superlative team."

Jain has more than two decades of expertise in marketing communications experience. Over the years, she has worked with agencies such as Hindustan Thompson, Contract Advertising, Mudra Communications, ZenithOptimedia and Cheil Communications. She has also had a short stint with Glaxo SmithKline, to gain experience on the client's side.

Jain has worked with clients such as PepsiCo, Horlicks, McDonald's, Whirlpool, Frito-Lay, Hyundai, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Nokia, Nestle and Samsung, among others.
