TBWA India appointed as communications partner for Ascendas

The agency has been assigned to work on the soon-to-be-launched brand, Park Square Mall.

The Singapore-based Ascendas, provider of business space solutions, has appointed TBWA India as its communications partner.

The agency's mandate involves handling brand Park Square Mall, which the company is soon launching.

The development is the result of a multi-agency pitch, where the agency's Bengaluru team made a media arts presentation. The presentation was about identifying the brand's key belief and suggesting how the brand ought to behave across various touch points to reflect that belief.

In the pipeline is a 360-degree campaign to launch Park Square Mall in Bengaluru.

Addressing the development, Thomas Teo, chief executive officer, Ascendas India, says in an official communiqué, "India is one of the key markets for Ascendas. With increased activity in the cluttered mall space in Bengaluru, our task will be to provide a unique experience to our audience with the launch of Park Square Mall."

Teo adds that TBWA's disruptive thinking and creative approach will give the brand the necessary thrust to stand out.

Addressing the account win, NirmalyaSen, managing director, TBWA India, says, "Needless to say, we are delighted. Co-creating Park Square as a differentiated mall brand is an exciting prospect. It will require disrupting conventions both in real-estate and retail segments."
