In a recent development, Neeraj Attri, head, western India, Sambhaav Media, has been promoted as national head, sales and marketing. Attri will look after all the operations of the company's OOH (out of home) and print media.
Attri joined Sambhaav Media in 2002 as manager, sales and marketing in Mumbai, and was consistently promoted to positions of increasing responsibility.
Attri brings to the table an experience of 13 years in print and out of home media sales and marketing. He has, in the past, worked with the Navbharat Group as manager, sales, in Mumbai, and Aishwarya Publications as manager, advertising.
Attri tells afaqs!, "I've spent a lot of time in this organisation and the journey so far has been good, but the true test starts after shifting base from the branch office to the head office."
He adds, "There is a lot more to do in both the divisions and I am confident of achieving our set goal within stipulated time limits. My new role will be to evolve Sambhaav Media's business to the next level."
For the record, Sambhaav Media has outdoor sites in the form of backlit and non-lit bus-Q-shelters, billboards and kiosks in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Surat. In print media, the company owns Sambhaav Metro -- an afternoon tabloid published from Ahmedabad; the daily newspapers Jansatta and Loksatta in Ahmedabad and Baroda, as well as Abhiyaan, a Gujarati weekly.
