Wizcraft launches government alliances division

It has bagged two new accounts, one for the government of Rajasthan, the other for the Health Ministry.

Wizcraft International Entertainment, the events and entertainment company, has launched the government alliances division. The division will focus on event management, design and communication for a host of ministries and public sector enterprises.

The new division has already bagged an important project by Rajasthan Tourism, which will roll out a 20-city 'Rajasthan Calling' campaign across India, over the next three months.

On the account win, Raman Raheja, associate vice-president, government alliances division, Wizcraft International Entertainment, tells afaqs!, "The project is aimed at spreading awareness about Rajasthan as a tourist destination. We will be showcasing the historical heritage of Rajasthan by the way of trade fairs and exhibitions."

The government alliances division will also manage the upcoming four-day conference of ministers of the South-East Asian region, organised by the Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation, to be held in Jaipur in September, this year.

The business for both accounts combined is worth over Rs 4.5 crore.

Prior to the launch of this specialised new division, Wizcraft had managed several projects for various government bodies such as the Chief Secretariat of Government of Delhi, NCR, Delhi Tourism Development Corporation, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, India Tourism Development Corporation, Indian Army, Ministry for Non-Resident Indians, International Film Festival Society of India, Indian Olympic Association, Government of Hyderabad, Government of Punjab and Haryana, and Pune Festival Committee.

Some of its noteworthy government-backed events include the Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies, and the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
