Triton Communication wins the creative and media duties of Orient's home-appliance business

The agency has won the duties for the forthcoming range of home appliances that Orient plans to introduce in the market soon. This is Triton Delhi's second win in the last three months.

Triton Communication has won the creative, as well as the media duties of Orient's forthcoming range of home appliances products that the company will be launching in the market by the end of this month in a phase-wise manner, starting from North India. The agency won the business through a multi-agency pitch.

Confirming the news to afaqs!, Rohit Madhusudan, branch director, Triton Delhi, says, "The pitch process was extremely professional, with considerable weightage given to strategic and creative parametres. The product category is very competitive at the low-end, and therefore, Orient is introducing a premium range to meet the higher aspirations of a new India."

This is Triton Delhi's second win in the last three months; the agency had won the creative duties of Digiworld and Videocon Groups retail business, in July this year.

Popularly known as Orient Fans, the company is a part of the CK Birla group, and is famous for products such as ceiling fans, table fans, wall-mounted fans, stand fans, exhaust fans, and multi-utility fans. Its lighting solutions including energy-saving CFLs, fluorescent tube lights and contemporary consumer luminaires. The company plans to expand its portfolio of products by entering the kitchen line of appliances, domestic heating, and the air solution products category in a phased manner.
