Star Plus continues to lead with 300 GRPs in Week 36

Interestingly, during the given week, four shows from the Sony stable have made it to the Top 10 list.

Star Plus, leader of the Hindi GEC flock, is at 300 GRPs(tam,c&s4+,hsm) for the week ended September 3, 2011, as it went on to see a one-point hike over its previous week numbers. Its relative market share has, however, witnessed a minuscule drop in Week 36, from 23.6 per cent to 22.7 per cent.

Sony Entertainment Television, meanwhile, continues to rule the number two slot with 258 GRPs in its kitty, a jump of 16 points over Week 35. Its relative share has also moved up from 19.2 per cent to 19.6 per cent. Interestingly, during the given week, four shows from the Sony stable have made it to the Top 10 list. While KBC and Bade Achhe lagte Hai were already ranked in the Top 10 for a couple of weeks now, C.I.D has once again forayed into the top group. Crime Patrol is a part of this list, too.

Both KBC (at 8.30 pm), and Bade Achhe lagte Hai (10.30 pm) have moved one spot ahead of their previous week rankings, with 5.2 TVR and 3.94 TVR, respectively, thereby leading their individual slots. C.I.D has garnered a 4.08 TVR, earning the fourth position, while Crime Patrol has entered the Top 10 bracket with 3.56 TVR.

Colors, at No. 3, is 21 points ahead of its previous week ratings with 249 GRPs, while its relative share is 18.9 per cent, up from 18 per cent.

At No. 4, Zee TV has added 18 points to its kitty to end the week with 198 GRPs. Its relative market share has also moved up from 14.2 per cent to 15 per cent.

At No. 5, Sab TV has moved down the scorecard to end the week with 117 GRPs, and a market share of 8.9. In Week 35, the channel's GRPs stood at 128 points, and its relative share was 10.1 per cent.

Sixth in its ranking, Imagine TV has fallen to 72 GRPs, from 75 GRPs that it had garnered in the previous week. Its relative share also dropped from 5.9 per cent to 5.4 per cent.

Sahara One and STAR One follow next with 35 GRPs each. While the former's relative share has seen a minute upswing to 2.7 per cent, STAR One is stable at 2.6 per cent.

DD1 and STAR Utsav have garnered 30 GRPs and 23 GRPs, respectively. The relative shares of the two, meanwhile, stand at 2.3 per cent and 1.8 per cent.

Saathiya Saath Nibhana (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 6.3, followed by Kaun Banega Crorepati (Sony) and Balika Vadhu (Colors), with TVRs of 5.2 and 4.93, respectively.

The fourth most-watched programme is C.I.D. with 4.08 TVR. Bade Achhe Lagte Hai (3.94 TVR) and Uttaran (3.92 TVR) follow next.

Pavitra Rishta, Pratigya, Crime Patrol and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are also a part of the Top 10 list.
