Based in Delhi, From Here On Communications is geared up to deliver unorthodox and engaging creative solutions.

After a long wait, the cat is out of the bag. Gullu Sen and Rajesh Aggarwal have announced the formation of their new agency From Here On Communications (FHO). Both Aggarwal and Sen worked together as the founding members at Dentsu India since the very inception of the agency. While Aggarwal bid adieu to the agency as president, Sen quit the agency as executive vice-chairperson and chief creative officer in April.

The duo is backed by three more stakeholders, including Nitin Suri, former national creative director, Dentsu Marcom, Shivanand Mohanty, former head, creative, Dentsu Communication, and Partho Maitra, former senior vice-president, Dentsu Marcom.

At FHO, both Suri and Mohanty are creative partners, while Maitra is the client partner. Sen and Aggarwal are the managing partners at the agency.

In an exclusive interaction with afaqs!, Aggarwal says, "For the last three years, both of us have been discussing the thought of opening a creative solutions shop of our own. While we have had the experience of setting up of agencies such as Rediffusion-Y&R and Dentsu, this was the next most logical step for us. We are looking at opening doors that go beyond the traditional style of advertising."

The Delhi-based agency currently has 20 people on board, with plans to add more as the agency expands. While all the business in Mumbai is now handled by the team in Delhi, the agency plans to open an office in Mumbai, too.

Sen explains, "The world is changing at a very high speed, which has also led to changes in consumption habits of consumers, especially in case of media. Also, with the average age of the consumer reducing, we thought of building a one-stop-shop that goes beyond the creative copies and secondage of advertising, to engage meaningfully with today's consumers."

The identity of the new agency has been created by Suri. The logo comprises three icons, each of which has been created with a meaning. While the first one stands for 'Great ideas come from people', in the second icon, the 'paper plane' represents fun; in the third icon, 'the bird' is a reminder that there are no boundaries to creativity.
