Jagran launches two more editions of City Plus

The editions, being launched from Mumbai, will be the 34th and 35th editions of the paper.

Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL) has introduced two new editions of City Plus from Mumbai - Chembur, Ghatkopar and Malad. With these two additions, Mumbai will have seven editions of the community newspaper.

City Plus has 35 editions in all, spread across Delhi, NCR (National Capital Region), Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

City Plus began its Mumbai operations two years ago, with an edition in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Later, it added editions in Nerul, Panvel, Thane, Kandivali, Chembur, and Malad to its kitty.

While the Chembur and Ghatkopar editions will cater to areas such as Diamond Garden, Maitri Park, Ambedkar Garden, Chembur Colony, Sindhi Society, Panjar Pole, Tilaknagar Moti Bagh and Ghatkopar; Malad's edition will be circulated across Marve Road, Link Road, S V Road, Chincholi Road, Ever Shine Nagar, Bangur Nagar, Gokuldham and Liberty Garden.

In the first phase, the editions will be launched with a collective initial print run of 35,000 copies.

Salil Tandon, business head and editor, City Plus, in an official communiqué, says, "The tabloid-size paper will soon enter other areas in Mumbai."

The community newspaper is targeted at the age group of 18-40 years and the edit varies from community-centric news to life and lifestyle content in and across the area.
