Zoom TV appoints Hersh Bhandari as head of sales

Prior to this, Bhandari was with Sri Adhikari Brothers, where he was business head for four channels.

The Times Television Network-promoted Bollywood and entertainment channel Zoom has appointed Hersh Bhandari as head of sales. Earlier, Bhandari was business head at Sri Adhikari Brothers, where he was in charge of four channels.

Avinash Kaul, chief executive officer, Zoom, confirms the development to afaqs!. He says, "At Zoom, Bhandari will report to Hemant Arora, chief sales officer, Times Television (which includes all channels such as ET Now, Times Now and Zoom)."

Bhandari, who has about 14 years of experience, has spent six years in the clothing industry and eight years in media. He joined Channel V in 1998 as marketing manager. After spending two years in the organisation, he moved to Aidem Ventures as vice-president.

A few months later, when Sri Adhikari Brothers planned to set up its own sales team, the company got Bhandari to head the business.
