The programme will allow publishers to monetise their video content by licensing the Jivox platform to generate and deliver interactive in-stream ads for their clients.

The availability of video content is not a requirement as publishers can also monetise their banner inventory using in-banner interactive video ad units available on the platform.

As part of the launch, the company has created a separate sales, operations support, and creative support group to be led by Rahul Tambewagh, director, platform sales, Jivox. The Jivox support team will help with ad creation, tag generation, in-stream and in-banner integration. The company also plans to train and certify members of its publisher ad operations team to ensure that they can get maximum benefit from the platform.

Citing rapid increase in consumption in video content across the APAC region, Naren Nachiappan, managing director, Jivox, says, "The requirement for video advertising has increased dramatically, but the ability to rapidly create and deliver compelling interactive video ads remains a critical challenge."

Nachiappan adds that Jivox platform's mandate will be to seamlessly create, deliver and optimise interactive video ads across a range of devices, including handheld devices, car phones and land phones.
