STAR India appoints Sameer Seth as AVP, marketing
Seth will drive the affiliate marketing for the STAR Network in India.
STAR India has roped in Sameer Seth as assistant vice-president, marketing. He will drive the affiliate marketing for the STAR network in India. Seth, who will be based in Mumbai, will also be in-charge of marketing STAR's HD channels across the country.
Prior to this, Seth was general manager, marketing, at CNN-IBN. He joined the Network18 Group in 2005.
Seth began his career as business manager, media communications at the Mediworld Group, where he spent a year before moving to Dish TV as manager, marketing. This was followed by his stint with CNN-IBN.
After completing his Bachelor's in Economics from Delhi University, Seth completed his MBA from the International Management Institute.
