Lowe Lintas has won the creative mandate for the soon-to-be-launched multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The agency is already on Maruti Suzuki's creative roster. The size of the business could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
It may be recalled that around a month ago, afaqs! reported that Maruti Suzuki was scouting for a creative agency for its upcoming Ertiga MPV. The company had called its roster agencies to present their ideas.
Currently, Lowe Lintas, Hakuhodo Percept, Publicis Capital and Dentsu Creative Impact are on the company's creative roster, handling brands such as Swift, Omni, Zen, WagonR, True Value, A-Star, Dzire and SX4.
For the record, Maruti Suzuki unveiled one of the most awaited cars of 2012, the Ertiga MPV, at the Auto Expo 2012. The three-row, seven-seater Ertiga marks the car maker's entry into the utility vehicle segment. The price of the car will be announced at the time of its launch in April, 2012, although it is expected to be more than Rs 6 lakh.
