While confirmation on the development could not be sourced from the company or the agency authorities at the time of filing this report, senior level sources in the industry who are close to this development have confirmed the news to afaqs! on the ground of anonymity.

The win is the result of a closely fought multi-agency pitch that was carried out in Bengaluru. The pitch was initiated towards the end of 2011, and saw participation of several leading creative agencies with a prominent presence in the South Indian market.

Most recently, Mudra South has worked on the creative duties for Jockey. In fact, it may be recalled that the agency bagged a silver award for its memorable 'Just Jockeying' campaign for the brand at the Effies 2010.

Bengaluru-based Page Industries holds the exclusive licenses for the manufacture and distribution of Jockey in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and the UAE. In India, Jockey is available across 16,000 outlets across the country.

Jockey offers a range of innerwear products for men and women. The brand's product portfolio also includes leisurewear products, sports products and thermal wear.
