Get daily deals in an Easy Cab

It's a unique amalgamation of online deals on an offline platform. Flo, as the in-taxi digital entertainment programme is called, is available in around 250 Easy Cab taxis in Mumbai. Flo works through a tablet like device, with sound and touch screen options, which is fitted behind the driver and passenger seats of the cabs. Through the device, uses a video with voiceovers to display deals and reveals a Deal ID to avail the coupon at the end. The customers can avail the deals by sending an SMS with the Deal ID to the number provided in the ads. expects that digital signage will be a major consumer touchpoint for it in future. It also intends to use this platform to ensure quality engagement with the audience, and also add new audiences.

Kunal Jain, founder,, says, "Having already set up our deals network in the online and mobile network space, we were looking for a media partner to translate our deals into an offline space, that could provide us focused interactions with urban spenders out of their homes and Flo fit the bill perfectly. This is a unique way to promote all brands on the Buzzr platform and we are looking forward to the response."

Speaking about how the tie up will enhance revenues, Jain adds, "Since our deals are free to distribute to consumers, we have the flexibility to reach out to offline audiences. Our revenues come in from our brand partnerships and so, additional exposure results in increased revenues."

These in-taxi campaigns are restricted only to those brands on that have outlets in Mumbai, particularly travel and restaurant brands. The brands have been chosen keeping the target demographics in mind. However, the deals for any particular brand are the same as those available on
