As part of its growth strategy, Carat Media has expanded its presence with the launch of its South operations. The media agency has set up its office in Bengaluru, from where it will provide localised services to some of its important businesses such as the Muthoot Group, Air Asia and Philips.
The media agency has appointed Joydeep Raha as senior vice-president to manage the affairs in the South. Earlier, Raha was associate vice-president, Bengaluru, Initiative, a part of the Lintas Media Group.
"The tools and processes used by Carat will definitely make a huge impact in the market and will deliver huge efficiencies to clients here. What is truly impressive is the integrated solutions capabilities that have been developed so quickly in the market, with each division being a domain expert in its respective field," says Raha.
Raha is a mechanical engineer and a graduate from MICA. He joined Enterprise Nexus in 2000 as media director. After working at Nexus for three years, in 2003, he moved to Lintas Media Group as associate vice-president and branch head, Initiative, Bengaluru.
