Mogae Media appoints Tushar Dhingra as chief delights officer

Mogae Media has appointed Tushar Dhingra as chief delights officer. In his new role, Dhingra will look after the discounts, deals and delights space at Mogae. He will be based in the company's headquarters in New Delhi.

Tanya Goyal, executive director, Mogae Media, says, "Tushar (Dhingra) is just the right kind of person to lead our new initiative in mobile commerce. He is treading virgin territory but with his kind of background, forging alliances, finding delightful deals and great value propositions for customers should be easy."

At Big Cinemas, Dhingra has been responsible for taking the brand from a 23-screen regional operator to be one of the leading brands in the space in the country. During his stint of six years as COO, Big Cinemas has won several awards and has been recognised at various platforms including 'Retailer of the Year' in Entertainment at the India Retail Summit and 'Most Admired Retailer - Entertainment' at the Images Retail Awards, among others.

Dhingra has also been associated with PVR Cinemas, Warner Brothers, Taj Hotels and ITC Hotels in various capacities through his career. Before Big Cinemas, he was chief marketing officer at PVR.

On his new role, Dhingra says, "Mobile is the new frontier for consumer delight 24X7 and the coming in of location-based services will only enhance both the targeting as well as the 'instanity' of the value proposition for our customers. I look forward to pioneer this new space at Mogae."

Mogae Media is a venture focused on mobile monetisation, launched by ad-veteran Sandeep Goyal. It was recently appointed as the sole and exclusive partner of Airtel for marketing its entire advertising inventory that includes mobile-couponing, mobile-deals and mobile value-adds for Airtel's customer base.
