Mogae media has appointed Badri Narayan as the head of analytics. He will be responsible for organising analytic systems for Mogae and will report to Pavan Chandra, the agency's chief incelligence officer.
Narayan says, "Data for me is sacrosanct and churning rich information from it is my everyday mission. Sheer volume of data can be quite intimidating. And, I thrive on that challenge. We're talking about data sizes beyond terabytes at Airtel, with whom Mogae works. And, these data are constantly growing, thanks to the ubiquitous information-sensing mobile devices."
Narayan, who has more than 20 years of experience, was earlier employed with The Corporate Storytellers, and has worked with companies such as Adnova Technologies, ZenithOptimedia and DDB Mudra, among others. He has developed a range of analytics software for media planning, logistics and online retail firms. He is adept at handling various database technologies and also has an intuitive feel for the social media space. Narayan is a science graduate from Mumbai University and an alumnus of IIT Mumbai.
Mogae Media is the new venture launched by ad-man Sandeep Goyal. It is the sole and exclusive partner of Airtel for marketing its entire advertising inventory, which includes mobile-couponing, mobile-deals and mobile value-adds.
