Pioneer Channel Factory appoints Saravanan P as network CEO

As part of his new mandate, Saravanan will lead the network's broadcast business and implement the network's expansion plan, which also includes its foray into the regional space.

Earlier, Saravanan was business head at Reliance Big Productions. He helped set up the TV content creation house, which now produces content in eight different languages including English and Hindi.

Armed with 18 years of experience across the media industry, Saravanan has also been associated with Reliance Big Broadcasting (as business head, regional GECs); Zee International (as head, special projects); and Sun Network (as head, new projects). At Sun Network, he has worked across all media verticals including TV, print, radio and DTH.

Speaking on his appointment, Saravanan says, "Through most of my professional career, I have set up new businesses and turned around existing establishments. The role at PCFL is another challenging opportunity and we are committed to establish ourselves as a formidable player in the entertainment industry in times to come. Our focus, whether in music or other content, will be to pioneer technology and innovation."
