Star Plus stays on top despite a 29 point drop

Imagine TV and Sahara One witness a neck-to-neck fight with 54 GRPs and 53 GRPs, respectively.

According to the latest data from TAM (C&S, 4+, HSM), Star Plus continues to maintain its top spot in Week 13, despite a 29 point drop over the previous week, to garner 289 GRPs for the week ended March 31.

The channel's relative share, too, witnessed a minor fall -- from 22.9 per cent in Week 12, to 22 per cent in Week 13.

Sony continues to be in the No. 2 slot, adding 8 points during the given week. While its GRPs have moved up from 209 points to 217 points, its channel share has moved up from 15 per cent to 16.5 per cent.

Colors, at No.3, has garnered 205 points for the week, up from the 200 points that it had earned in the previous week. Its relative share has increased from 14.3 per cent to 15.6 per cent.

Zee TV, which continues to be at No. 4, has slipped down from 214 GRPs to 200 GRPs, while its relative share has moved down from 15.4 per cent to 15.2 per cent.

The rest of the rankings remain more or less the same. SAB TV is at No. 5, with a share of 10.7 per cent (9.5 per cent in the previous week). Its GRPs have moved up from 132 to 140.

Life OK is at No. 6, with a share of 6.3 per cent (5.3 per cent in the previous week), and a GRP of 82 points, up from 74 points.

Imagine TV is at No. 7 with a share of 4.1 per cent, as compared to 4.4 per cent in the previous week; it has garnered 54 GRPs as opposed to 62 in the previous week.

Sahara One is at No. 8, with a 4 per cent channel share, as compared to 3.1 per cent in the previous week. Its GRP stands at 53, up from the 43 GRPs that it had garnered in the previous week.

Star Utsav is at No. 9 with 3.8 per cent share, as compared to 3.3 per cent in Week 12, while its GRPs have risen from 46 to 49 this week.

DD1, with 1.3 per cent share and 17 GRPs, is at No. 10. Zee Smile follows next with 7 GRPs, and 0.5 per cent channel share.

Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 5.52, followed by Crime Patrol and Balika Vadhu, with TVRs of 4.80 and 4.46, respectively.

The fourth most-watched programme is Saathiya Saath Nibhana, with 4.34 TVR. Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (4.16 TVR) and Uttaran (4.11 TVR) follow next. Pratigya, C.I.D., Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma are also a part of the Top 10 list.
