Dena Bank initiates creative pitch

The bank is looking for creative agencies based in Mumbai.

Dena Bank looks to empanel creative agencies in Mumbai. The empanelment will be for a period of three years. The bank plans to roll out its campaign across various media including print, outdoor, television and radio.


The size of the business could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. However, it is learnt that the bank is looking for an agency that has the resource to handle multi-media, multi-lingual publicity campaigns.

Dena Bank was founded o¬n May 26, 1938 by the family of Devkaran Nanjee under the name Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd. The bank was nationalised in July, 1969 along with 13 other major banks. It is now a public sector bank constituted under the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970.

In February, Dena Bank announced the launch of its Mass CASA campaign. As a part of this initiative, the entire staff of Dena Bank participated in road shows spread out across India. The staff reached out to people on a door to door basis in societies, malls and parks, and explained about the products and services offered by the bank.
