Mogae Digital has roped in Yudhvir Singh as general manager and head of mobile activation. Earlier, Singh was with Videocon's corporate VAS (value added services) team. Commenting on his new role, Singh says, "My stay at Videocon corporate VAS team was a great learning experience. Videocon being a greenfield project, I was involved in conceptualisation, creating requirement documents for IT solutions, carrying out UATs, product designing, vendor selection and laying out the go-to-market strategy initially. At Mogae, I see similar opportunities to grow new businesses."

Singh, who has more than 10 years of experience, started his career as a business analyst with IMImobile in Hyderabad. After a short stint, he moved to the company's international sales team in Kuwait and was responsible for business development across West Asia. He also worked as country head for IMImobile in Sri Lanka, where he incubated a completely new mobile activation and VAS business. After three years at IMImobile, Singh moved to the telecom practice of TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) with assignments on SDP (service delivery platform).

Commenting on the new appointment, Tanya Goyal, executive director, Mogae Digital, says, "Yudhvir has many years of telecom experience spread over the entire value chain of VAS and mobile application to brands. He has worked with VAS product-based companies, system integrators and with telecom operators. His kind of experience will enhance Mogae's cutting edge in the market."

Singh holds a BE degree from ITM University and an MBA from IBS Hyderabad.
