Quick Heal Technologies, which provides internet security tools and develops anti-virus software, has initiated a pitch to appoint a creative agency, along with a media planning and buying agency and a full service digital agency, including social media.

A senior executive of the company on condition of anonymity confirms the news to afaqs! and says, "We started in 1993 and over the years, have focused on building the business. Now, we believe the time has come to take it to the next level. While we have been advertising through various media in the past, we would now like to build 'Quick Heal' as a strong brand."

This is the first time in the last 19 years of operations that the company has initiated a pitch process. So far, advertising was managed in-house by the company.

For the record, headquartered in Pune, Quick Heal Technologies was founded in 1993. The company is mainly into manufacturing anti-virus software. Currently, it claims to employ more than 450 people in 22 branches across India. It also operates through a network of dealers and channels partners in more than 50 countries worldwide.
