Deepak Lamba joins Times Group as president
Lamba quit BloombergUTV as business head in April. He joined in his new role on June 1.
After promoting Arunabh Das Sharma as president, BCCL (Bennett Coleman & Co), Times Group has taken on-board Deepak Lamba, former business head, BloombergUTV as president.
Lamba has taken up his new responsibilities on June 1. He quit from his role in BloombergUTV in April, after serving in the channel for about two years and four months.
It is learnt that the company plans to announce a few new business ventures. Lamba will be responsible for driving these businesses.
Lamba has been associated with various media houses. He joined MTV in 2006 as associate director, Viacom Brand Solutions. Within a year, he was promoted as director, Viacom Brand Solutions. Four years later, he moved to BloombergUTV as business head in January, 2010. He put in his papers at BloombergUTV in April.
